Whenever I see graphic arrows on the street it reminds me of my friend the painter, Murray Reich, who did a series of paintings and photographs with the symbol. He passed away this year and I miss him.

Gotta love this signage on West 92nd St, NYC! Especially the way the arrows perfectly fill out the negative space around "HAND".
